The mission of La Pueblita is to offer residents an alternative to traditional retirement communities with all the expected services and amenities at a more affordable price, and with the knowledge that in most cases, additional care and services can be delivered to the resident in their home – without the need to relocate.
LA PUEBLITA is located in the Lake Chapala area, a region rated by National Geographic as one of the best climates in the world. The Lake sits about 5,200 feet (1,584.96 meters) above sea level and experiences an excellent climate with pleasantly warm year round temperatures averaging about 74° Fahrenheit.

Alive is a Mexican company created by several entrepreneurs with experience in several areas like health care, finance, architectural, real estate and business. In addition, ALIVE has enlisted the help of industry professionals such as Moore Diversified Services for consulting, Northstar Senior Living for operations, GVA and Tierra y Armonia for Development, to ensure that La Pueblita will become the benchmark for Senior Living communities in Mexico.

at our Ajijic senior living community, you’ll enjoy an atmosphere of comfort and convenience where a variety of services and amenities are just a short stroll from your home. We will offer a variety of building designs that blend traditional Mexican design with modern conveniences to ensure your safety and comfort. Residents will be able to choose from traditional apartments and casitas/cottages ranging in size from 650 -1200 square feet. The community will center around a 20,000 square foot Club House with all the amenities and services needed to accommodate your specific needs. Future plans include a full service Health Care Center to serve our residents and the surrounding community.
The name “La Pueblita”, meaning small village or town, reflects the hospitality and family environment that have their roots in Mexican culture. La Pueblita will offer much more than a place for older people to live. When people move to La Pueblita, they will lead a richer and fuller life.
