Many times people aren’t able to plan for their future and that future arrives sooner or later.
Growing older for many people is a synonym of solitude and loneliness, but other seniors are provided with care from a relative or even a friend.

- 80% of younger people who answered a recent poll, reported being at least moderately stressed by caregiving.
- Millennial caregivers work on average 35 hours per week providing care. 60% of that time is unpaid care.
- 44 million people in America provides assistance to a family member or a loved one.
- One in three people provides unpaid care to a loved one in The United States
- People providing unpaid care to an adult friend or relative ages 18-39
- Ten million out of the nearly 44 million people providing care are millennials.
- Seven in 10 people 65 and older will need help with activities like dressing, eating, walking and getting of bed.
- 53% of millenials say private health insurance should have a larger responsibility in paying for long-term care; 40 % say that Medicare should have more responsibility; and 32% say Medicaid should pay more.
- The average cost of having a part-time caregiver come to home is $48,000 a year
- Between 40 to 70% of caregivers suffer from depression, while many caregivers also have anxiety as a result of the stress associated with providing care. Anger and irritability are also common symptoms of caregiver stress syndrome.
